A major gang sweep led to more than two dozen arrests on narcotics charges in South Los Angeles.
Suspects were brought to the Los Angeles Sports Arena to be processed Thursday morning.
The FBI led the multi-agency task force that carried out the sweep, which included members of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The task force served both federal and local arrest warrants for reputed gang members and associates wanted for various crimes. The target of the sweep was the P-Stone Bloods gang.
Eighty people were arrested during a similar sweep last month that targeted a San Pedro gang.
Similar raids this month in Sacramento and Central California ended with more than 30 arrests.
A news conference regarding the operation was scheduled for sometime Thursday.
