Musicians issue Song for Missing Student, Lauren Spierer, #Lauren
Lauren Spierer is an Indiana University student who went missing last June. She was seen out at a local bar, and never seen from again. Witnesses and people of interest have been extremely silent in the case leading to a dead end. Illuminati Sky hopes to end that silence by issuing a song regarding the matter.
The band, Illuminati Sky, consisting of Chemical Dependency song writer and guitarist, Josh Tifer, and hip hop artist, Michael Barber, who formed the group last summer, are determine to help in the raising of awareness for Lauren Spierer.
Barber is an Indiana native and he has stated on his website that he will “email and tweet to Nancy Grace,” every day until she comes to Indiana to help in the case.
He has some harsher words for the parties involve, some of the nicer things he says include, “yeah we close, watching your every move, I don’t care if you move to the moon, I will watch”, and “You can’t hide behind your attorney’s forever”.
He also mentions the local Bloomington Police Department in the song and on his website, stating that they, “have suspects now they need to get us answer!” He mentions how the properties were searched but not the landfills.
The song is available for a free download online and Barber has stated that if he does put it on Itunes or for sale of any kind, he will donate all money to Lauren’s family.
