Former gang prevention counselor Rodney Britton, already indicted on federal racketeering charges stemming from gang involvement, is facing state rape charges.
Britton, 22, is charged with raping a 15-year-old boy earlier this year.
Britton is a former employee of the Galaxy Star Drug Awareness and Gang Prevention Center in east Nashville. He is accused of being affiliated with the Bloods while he counseled teens to leave what gang members call the thug life.
The six-count sealed Davidson County grand jury indictment charging him with rape, sexual battery and statutory rape was revealed on Monday while Britton remains in federal custody.
