Thirty-five alleged gang members and associates were arrested over the last two weeks in eastern Wisconsin during a crackdown by several law enforcement agencies, the U.S. Marshals Service said Wednesday.
The operation targeted gang activity in cities including Milwaukee, Kenosha, Racine, Sheboygan, Green Bay and Appleton.
People who were arrested include alleged members of the Latin Kings, Mexican Posse and Black Gangster Disciples accused of crimes ranging from cocaine distribution to probation violations, according to the Marshals Service.
Officers from the Marshals Service, the Milwaukee Police Department, the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office and several other law enforcement agencies participated in the operation.
