4 Tennessee gang members to be sentenced under the new gang violence law
Four alleged Knox County gang members appear to be the first in Tennessee to face enhanced punishment under a new state law specifically targeting gang violence, according to a release from prosecutors. Knox County District Attorney General Randy Nichols issued a release Monday in which he said four members of the Five Deuce Hoover Crips gang were convicted last week of charges that included attempted murder for beating an unnamed victim in a gang-related crime.
